Rachel Jakubowski, PT, DPT, SCS

Rachel graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Central Florida. Upon graduation she went on to complete a sports residency program through ProRehab and the University of Evansville where she received extensive training in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). Rachel is a Board Certified Sports Specialist (SCS) following her residency training.

While in the sports residency, she performed functional movement screening on the Major League Baseball team the Milwaukee Brewers, Western Kentucky University and University of Evansville athletes. She worked with the NFL Players Association in the spring of 2016 to provide rehabilitation to retired NFL athletes. She has treated athletes from the NFL, MLB, NBA and European League, track and field and a variety of amateur and professional athletes across different sports.

Certifications:
Sports Certified Specialist (SCS), Functional Dry Needling Level 1 and 2, Training in Active Release Techniques (ART) level 1 Spine, Upper and Lower Extremity, SFMA level 1 and 2, FMS level I and II, Y balance, TPI level 1 certified, On Base U Hitting and Pitching, and RockTape Basic and Performance.

Athletic History:
Rachel played soccer at the University of South Florida and then at Rollins College, where she was recognized at the conference, regional, and national level on the D2 All-American team. She also played soccer overseas in Germany for one season prior to attending the University of Central Florida for graduate school.

 

Morgan Beck, PTA, CPT, CES

Morgan is a native of the Central Florida area where she attended Lake Howell High School. During her time there, she was a 4-year athlete in both volleyball and basketball. For college Morgan attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) where she obtained her bachelors in Exercise Science. While attending UCF she coached travel basketball and volleyball at the same time.

Upon graduating from UCF in 2016, she has successfully been working with athletes from all sports at Spectrum Performance, which is a performance facility in Baldwin Park, Florida.

Morgan decided she wanted to take her knowledge to the next level and graduated from Herzing University with a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) degree. She currently leads the Return to Sport (RTS) Program at Spectrum Performance which works with orthopedics, physical therapists and clinics throughout Central Florida to help guide athletes back from injury. With her background as a personal trainer and now her education as a physical therapist she makes an amazing addition to our company!

She holds several certifications including: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license from Herzing University, NASM-Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES).
